THE ELEVENTH GURU

The Guru Granth Sahib Ji has many hymns and religious songs composed by Guru Nanak Dev Ji. Guru Arjan Dev Ji compiled it, and the rest of the Gurus added to it. But they all kept the name of Nanak in the hymns.
The Guru Granth Sahib has 1430 pages in poetry form.
It has the verses of Guru Nanak, which he sang in the language Gurumukhi.
All t beliefs and faiths of Sikhs come from these religious songs composed by th ten Gurus.
Verses of other saints and poets have also been included in the Guru Granth Sahib. They have been included as they prove the basic teachings of Sikhism.
The Sikh Gurus didn't believe in idol worship. So there is no idol worship in Sikhism. The sacred book, Guru Granth Sahib, is now worshipped by the Sikhs.
The Guru Granth Sahib is kept in Gurudwaras where the Sikhs come and worship it.
The Sikhs worship the book and sing praises of God as Guru Nanak used to sing.
The followers sing holy words of their Gurus called Burubani wherein they pay homage to God.

There is the common kitchen called langar in all Gurudwaras.
