TWO YARDS OF MILK

After a few years, his father dies and Sheikh Chilli lived alone with his mother.
Sheikh was a very stupid boy but his mother had to send him to buy things from the market because there was no one else to help her.
One day his mother told Sheikh to go to the market and buy milk for one Anna.
When he reached the shop, he saw that the shopkeeper had two pots, one in each hand. While pouring the hot milk from one pot to another, he would stretch one hand away from the other.
The milk then looked like a long white cloth between the two pots.
Sheikh Chilli was really surprised to see this because he did not know that the shopkeeper was doing this to cool the milk. Actually Sheikh thought that the shopkeeper was measuring the milk in this way.
The shopkeeper asked him, "What do you want?"
I" want to buy milk," said Sheikh.
"How much milk do you want?" asked the shopkeeper.
Sheikh Chilli said, "Wait, let me think"
Again the shopkeeper started cooling milk in the same manner.
Sheikh was at a loss for words because Sheikh's mother had given him no instruction except telling him to get milk for one Anna.
The shopkeeper grew irritated and shouted, "Tell me quickly or I will not give you anything."
Sheikh knew that he had to buy milk or his mother would be angry.
He thought, "Money is counted as rupees, Annas and paisa but this shopkeeper seems to be measuring the milk in yards, feet and inches. And mother has asked me to get milk for one Anna. What should I do?"
He thought some more and then he said loudly, "Give me two yards of milk"

Everyone burst out laughing at Sheikh's foolishness.
