·         If we say something which we really are not, we don't ring true and are soon known as counterfeits.
·         With the gratitude for the past and a blessing for the future, concentrate on living in the eternal NOW.

·         Sitting in the Dakhineshwor garden, Swami Ramkrishna Paramhansa was contemplating on the Divine Mother. Just then Dr. Mahendra Nath Sarkar, who had not met the Master till then, arrived there. He mistook the Swamiji for the gardener and told him to pluck flowers. Swamiji was in a state of consciousness, beyond honor and dishonor; he plucked flowers at once and gave them to the doctor, who wenr back with asking for Master's darshan. The next day he came again to see Swamiji, and then he realized his folly and was moved by his divine modesty. Great sages and saints are innately and naturally humble, courteous and egoess.
·         NOW is inexhaustible. It unfolds, unfolds and unfolds - century after wondrous eentury, but it is still NOW.
·         Mayad was appointed the ruler of Yemen. A grand festival was organized for the cononation ceremony. Mayad was an extremely virtuous and pious prince.

Before placing the crown on his head the royal Qazi askes - "How will you decide the cases which will come before you"? Mayad replied - "I will consider Quran Shareef as the authority and will support that which is in accordance with the precepts of the Quran" "But if that particular fact is not mentioned in the Quran, then"? The Qazi inquired. "Then I will seek the guidance of the holy men and the prophets, on whom rests the faith of the citizens." Mayad replied. "If even they are not available, then?" asked the royal Qazi again. "Then I will try to do justice according to my conscience." Mayad replied humbly.
